Founded in 1781, the Massachusetts Medical Society (MMS) is the oldest continuously operating medical society in the United States. For over two centuries, MMS has been a steadfast advocate for physicians across the Commonwealth providing leadership, advocacy, and lifelong learning while upholding the highest standards of ethics, equity, and patient care.
